This is the fun part. Your portrait session is relaxed, unhurried, and fully guided, whether we photograph you in our studio, at your home, or in a favorite outdoor setting.
For larger and multigenerational families, we can even handle the coordination—helping with schedules, wardrobe, location, and communication—so everyone knows where to be, what to wear, and what to expect. You simply show up and enjoy being together.

We begin with a conversation about your family, your style, and the spaces in your home. Together, we’ll plan your session, discuss pricing and portrait options, and help you decide what will work best for you.
03 - ENJOY
After your session, we’ll help you select the photographs you love and explore beautiful ways to display them in your home. We’ll show you examples of prints, mounting, and framing so you can see and feel the difference before deciding what’s right for you.
Meet Mark & Tina
For us, family has always been the story that matters most.
After a long career in professional services, I traded the boardroom for a camera and the opportunity to pursue work I genuinely love. Of everything I’ve photographed—from events and weddings to families and children—I’m most drawn to creating portraits that preserve a particular season of family life and become more meaningful as the years pass.
Tina, my wife of 40 years, is my partner in life and in Oak Hill Portraits, helping make every client experience feel thoughtful and seamless. We’ve called Nashville home for more than 40 years and Oak Hill home for the past 12. With two grown children and a grandson of our own, we know firsthand just how quickly the years change a family.
That’s why we believe some moments deserve more than a place on your phone. They deserve a place in your home.
